If you like swift service when you go to a restaurant you can’t beat the Royal Dragon Restaurant in Bangkok, where the waiters and waitresses serve you on roller skates – and one of them can fly!

One of the largest restaurants in the world, The Royal Dragon covers 8.3 acres and has 5000 seats. In order to cover the vast expanse of the restaurant floor, the waiting staff zip about on roller skates with more poise and speed than should really be possible when balancing a large tray of food in one hand.

If you’re really lucky, you might even get the ‘flying’ waiter who makes a dramatic appearance at certain points in the evening, swooping down through the air on a special cable.
