Welcome to the latest craze in Madrid’s unusual restaurant scene; where spangle-clad drag queens and semi-nude men whirl around the tables as you pick from a menu of suggestively named dishes. This is erotic dining.

Whilst phallic-shaped starters and curvaceous deserts would not rate highly in Gordon Ramsey’s book, this is the kind of restaurant to leave your inhibitions at home and go with the gem-encrusted flow and whatever the aphrodisiac-infused menu throws at you.

Main courses are followed closely by an erotic show, which could range from anything as bizarre as a drag queen musical to a cabaret show or striptease.

Then it’s time for cocktails and some seriously naughty deserts…
