Carnivore Restaurant, Kenya

For meat lovers, this is heaven. Welcome to Carnivore, Kenya’s most indulgent and effortless hunt.

Set in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, Carnivore is decorated like a theme park. Models of Disney’s The Lion King meerkat and warthog duo, Timon and Pumbaa, greet you as you walk through a canopy of jungle leaves.

Carnivore is just as famous for its abundant portions of meat and game. This safari restaurant offers traditionally roasted meats as well as the more exotic crocodile and ostrich meatballs.

Waiters slice cuts off their meat-packed Masai sword skewers until you can take no more, and hang up your table’s white flag in defeat. Try to bear the meat sweats though; the barbecued cuts are so succulent you’ll be sorry you didn’t hold out for more.
