Bom-Banes musical restaurant, England

Tables that go up and down, salt pots that set off mysterious noises, singing waitresses and Yorkshire-Belgian fusion cuisine. Bom-Banes in Brighton is full of weird and wonderful surprises.

This restaurant is run by an eccentric and musically-talented couple who have let their imaginations run riot. The tables – which they built themselves and have names like The Turntable and Tablerone – have a unique life of their own. And the serving staff sporadically just drop everything and burst into self-penned song – about the restaurant, the staff, the food…

If you want more, on some Saturday nights they stage a full-on Bom-Banes:The Musical over a 3-course dinner. Or if you have a teenager, send them to Homework Night on a Wednesday for a hearty meal and help with their studies.
