Archipelago Restaurant, London
Exotic food and bragging rights are both on offer at this trendy little London eatery, which takes global cuisine to a whole new level. Crocodile, kangaroo, peacock and wildebeest meat are all dished up on intimate tables surrounded by Buddha statues, giant peacock feathers and heaps of velvet cushions.
It’s an experience you won’t forget, and as a bonus you can gross friends out with tales of crunchy chocolate-covered scorpion tails and crispy chilli and garlic locusts.
Archipelago is located at 110 Whitfield Street in central London.

I went to Archipelago for an office party years ago, it was interesting to see how everyone reacted to the food and how adventurous my workmates were. Although I doubt I’d take up eating locust I do think it was a great experience.
