Dinner in the Sky, Brussels

Better hope you have a good stomach for heights to enjoy this improbable dining experience. Brussels-based Dinner in the Sky has been organising sky-high meals on a table dangling from a crane since 2006. But the company has now gone global and offers parties, weddings and corporate dos in the place of your choice.

The tables fit 22 people, are hosted by a crane and placed 130ft high in the air by a safety-trained team. As long as a large open space can be secured with permission, Dinner in the Sky can be held anytime, anywhere and can be organised for breakfast, lunch or cocktails. A logo of choice can be displayed underneath the table, and you can even organise a second crane table for further entertainment, prizes or music.

Just be sure not to drop your knife under this table!
