World’s biggest Lenin head, Russia

Worried that your wedding photos will be lacking that something extra? Then grab the wedding party, jump on board the Trans-Siberian Railway and make your way to Ulan Ude, Russia, where the local wedding photo hotspot is rather more quirky than the usual locations.

Ulan Ude, a closed city during Communist times, makes no secrets about the ideology’s founder, boasting the world’s largest Lenin head statue. On spring days, endless streams of wedding parties parade through the main square to take their turn in front of the statue, which is so massive that is dwarfs the entire party.

You may not be able to tell who is in the picture, but you sure will not forget where it was taken.
