Crop circles and so-called alien debris abound in Roswell, New Mexico, making it a household name. And the 1947 “discoveries” have prompted the creation of the ever-informative and ever-learned UFO Museum and Research Center.
With the appearance of a school hall displaying the children’s art project, the museum is without doubt one of the quirkiest places on the planet (well, at least our planet).
From the questionable cockney collecting the entrance fee, which is all donated to the ‘New Location Fund’ (the ‘new location’ currently being a sketch of a snazzy spaceship-shaped building), to the bizarre displays of alien-related cuttings and signs, this ahem, educational outing is a real gem.
Look out for the old cinema with an alien-shaped lamppost outside.
