Cyber candy, England

This sweet shop stocks a wonderful array of unusual goodies – some of which are delightful and baffling in equal measure.

There are candy-encased ants, chillies and gold leaf, gummy bugs which illuminate when you pick them up and even something called melted ice-cream spray – because normal ice-cream takes too much chewing?

There are also unusual flavours of old-fashioned favourites (how do Mentos Chlorophyll and Kitkat Watermelon sound?) and some chocolate bars with the most amazing names. Current contenders for the best named bar include the Nestle Pollywaffle, Cadburys Wunderbar and Hersheys Whatchamacallit.

Cyber Candy has stores in London’s Covent Garden and Brighton.
