Bathe in wine, Japan

Bathing in water is so last year. Discover instead, how fun it is to immerse yourself in a warm tub of red wine, coffee, sake, green tea or even…noodles.

The Yunessun Spa Resort offers a variety of ‘creative’ baths to amuse and pamper you. The red wine bath, topped up several times a day straight from the bottle, is said to reduce cellulite. And the green tea bath, fed by a giant tea pot, contains antioxidants for radiant, glowing skin.

Every so often a new bath appears on the ‘menu’. There have been chocolate, curry, milkshake – and a light-brown pork broth full of squidgy noodles, garlic and pepper. Taking a dip in that is said to boost your metabolism and clear acne.

But how often they change the bath water is something you’re never going to know.
