Warrior Dash, USA

Warrior Dash @ Red Frog Events

Who’s scared of a little mud? No? Then, who’s afraid of throwing themselves into gallons of the stuff, jumping over a raging fire, and charging through extreme assault courses with a mob of wannabe Vikings at your heels?

The Warrior Dash running series bills itself as ‘The craziest frickin’ day of your life’, and they aren’t kidding. Cross the finish line, though, and you can celebrate with your newfound kin with live music, beer, horned helmets and very, very muddy shorts.

The races started in Florida, but span dozens of courses spread over the US, and a couple in Canada and Australia too. Each race is as unique as the terrain it comes on.

Of the thousands that participate in each race, absolutely anyone at any level of fitness can and does take part. No time limits or fitness level is prescribed, just the notion of fun, adventure and warrior-ness, and to have an amazing muddy laugh. Enrol online the earlier, the cheaper.
