Blitz Party, London

The 1940s themed blitz party, a night of wartime romance and swing music © Blitz Party

Take cover among the sand bags, blackout curtains and military bunk beds and enjoy some real 1940s community spirit at the Blitz Party, a regular event for those who just love to mention the war.

Enjoy a pint of Kentish Ale in the Spitfire Bar, watch original wartime newreels set to music and dance to live swing bands as you wave your Union Jack with pride.

Dress code is 1940s glam, military uniform (allied only of course) or home-front utility clothing – and fancy dress is NOT optional!

Dates, details and – most importantly – dress code are available on their website.
